Marina One

 Marina One is a mixed-use, high-density tower complex in the heart of Singapore's new Marina Bay commercial capital. Katherine Gustafson, Neil Porter, and Mary  Bowman were responsible for the central ‘Green Heart' of the development and clearly focused on fulfilling Singapore's city-wide goal of becoming a “City in a Garden”. To me the design truly unifies the surrounding built structure with what could be a void in the middle, and the tropical planting creates the feeling of an oasis in the centre.
